Bishopbriggs Mosque – Since 2013
Alhumdulillah, with the grace and mercy of Allah swt the Bishopbriggs Masjid opened in 1436/2015 – A long dream of the elders in the community.
Islamic circles took place at individual homes
Prior to this, Islamic circles took place at individual homes on a weekly basis. The local community travelled far and wide to attend Jummah, Taraweeh and Eid prayers, to ensure their children received an Islamic education and to ask important questions for guidance in life.
Since 2013
Active effort in taking Islam to the local community.
The struggle, the desire and most importantly the dua’s of the elders delivered the Bishopbriggs Masjid. May Allah swt bless them in this life and the next. Ameen.
At the masjid today we have a full time Imam. Five daily, Jummah, Taraweeh & Eid prayers. Classes for all ages, covering Tafseer and Tajweed of the Holy Quran. An active effort in taking Islam to the local community.
